The how-to version

GEO optimization, step by step.

The definition is on our other page. This is the working method, with the numbers that justify each step.
If you searched "geo optimization"

What we measured about it: 1,000 times a month of demand and a paid auction already at $31.59 per click; the AI answer on it carries no measurements.

Run on your market, a read shows: your real search demand under every phrasing, which AI answers in your market are open, partial or closed (with the evidence), what your competitors run in the public ad archives, and your break-even numbers computed from your own economics.

"Geo optimization" is searched about 1,000 times a month at difficulty 39 of 100, with a top bid of $31.59: practitioners are already paying for this phrase. The long tail is telling: "ai overview seo" 140 searches a month, "how to rank in ai search" 70 searches a month, "how to get cited by chatgpt" 70 searches a month. measured

The method we actually run

1. Measure presence, twice. AI answers change between pulls; a single read overstates stability. 2. Classify every question as open (no answer), partial (the answer measurably stops short, usually on figures) or closed (complete, strongly cited: walk away). 3. Publish the missing figures on your own domain, sourced and dated, in self-contained passages an answer can lift. 4. Re-check at 60 days and keep score: citations won and lost, not vibes.

Why figures are the wedge

Nearly every partial door we classify fails the same way: the answer names options and carries no decision numbers. Numbers with provenance are the scarcest supply in the answer box, and the cheapest thing an honest operator can produce.

Method: volumes, difficulties and bids from DataForSEO, pulled 2026-08-27; door statistics from our August 2026 market runs (two-pull protocol). Figure registry: /figures/geo-optimization.figures.json.
