What we measured about it: 1,600 times a month of demand, answered with step lists that never once say: count your market first.
Run on your market, a read shows: whether the thing you plan to sell is actually searched, under which phrasings, at what click cost, and your real search demand under every phrasing, which AI answers in your market are open, partial or closed (with the evidence), what your competitors run in the public ad archives, and your break-even numbers computed from your own economics.
Book the 20-minute callor read the measured pieces first →"Starting an online business" is searched about 1,600 times a month in the US at difficulty 12 of 100; "how to start a small business" adds 3,600 searches a month. The AI answers on both list steps: register, brand, build, launch. Not one step in them is "check whether anyone searches for what you plan to sell." measured
Step zero
Demand is countable before the LLC exists. "Total addressable market" is searched 2,400 searches a month by people trying to do this with a spreadsheet ritual; "test a business idea" draws 210 searches a month at difficulty 2. The countable version: list the phrasings, pull the volumes, price the clicks, read the AI answers. If the demand is not there under any phrasing, you just saved the build. If it is, you now know where it lives, which is where the site, the ads and the content should aim from day one.
The trap this avoids
The most expensive failure mode we measure is the category trap: a brand builds on a phrase the founder loves that the market never types, while the real demand sits under a phrasing nobody claimed. Detecting that before launch costs days. Detecting it after costs the runway.
One read: your demand, your winnable AI answers, every competitor's ads, and your site's catch rate. Price and scope on a short call, plainly.
